I should have known from the start,
That your love for me was false.
There was never a grain of truth,
In anything you ever said to me.

Forked tongue, poisonous tongue,
Dripping with your deadly lies.
A siren's voice whispering to me,
Drawing me into the arms of deceit.

I tried so hard to resist your charm,
But your lies were so much stronger,
Stronger than my weak human will,
And I succumbed to your false love.

Forked tongue, poisonous tongue,
Dripping with your deadly lies.
A siren's voice whispering to me,
Drawing me into the arms of deceit.

Saw you casting your spell on me,
But I ignored it, looked on blindly.
You worked your magic on my mind,
Enslaving my trusting, believing soul.

Forked tongue, poisonous tongue,
Dripping with your deadly lies.
A siren's voice whispering to me,
Drawing me into the arms of deceit.

Never saw you for what you were,
A succubus in your human disguise.
I let you seduce me, I let you use me,
And now my broken heart pays the price.
I wrote this song awhile back. It's not the best I've written.
